The Sendai City War Reconstruction Memorial Hall is a library for preserving records of the aerial bombing of Sendai and its reconstruction projects, so that a complete image of the war damage and revitalization of Sendai can be communicated to later generations. In addition to the permanent exhibition hall, there is a 270-seat concert hall, as well as large and small meeting rooms which the citizens of Sendai make use of for cultural and civic events.
