After touring the elegant, gorgeous mausoleum, you’ll take a stroll along the Hirosegawa River near the bus stop. There are around 90,000 items related to the DATE clan and Sendai domain held at the Sendai City Museum(*). The ruins of Sendai Castle, 620-thousand-koku castle residence of the DATE clan, was built on the thickly forested Mount Aoba, so it also known as Aoba Castle.
